Program Overview
Strategic Blessings offers four distinct programs designed to meet parents at different points in their journey. Each provides opportunities to learn, reflect, and put practical parenting strategies into action.
Parenting Workshops
Parenting through change can bring new questions, challenges, and opportunities to grow. Our parenting workshop series create an engaging space to learn practical strategies, reflect on what matters most, and discover new ways to approach everyday parenting experiences. Sessions combine practical instruction, guided reflection, interactive activities, and discussion so parents can put what they learn into action. Workshops may be offered as part of a series, with select workshops also available as standalone sessions.
Parenting Discussion Groups
Sometimes, a meaningful conversation can offer a fresh perspective. Parenting Discussion Groups give parents a welcoming space to talk openly about parenting experiences, challenges, and the things that matter most to them. Through guided topics and facilitated conversation, parents can reflect, exchange perspectives, and learn from the experiences and insights of others.
Re-entry Parenting Sessions
Returning home can bring both excitement and change for parents and their children. Re-entry Parenting Sessions help incarcerated parents look ahead and prepare intentionally for the parenting adjustments that may come with returning to their families and communities. Through practical instruction, guided conversation, and reflection, parents explore expectations, communication, boundaries, and ways to reconnect with their children as they prepare for re-entry.
Individualized Parenting Coaching
Sometimes, having dedicated time to focus on your own parenting journey can make all the difference. Individualized coaching gives parents a one-on-one space to explore what matters most to them, set meaningful goals, and discover practical ways to move forward. Through focused conversations, reflection, and action planning, each session builds on the parent strengths while helping turn insight into action.
Individualized parenting coaching is offered outside of correctional facilities.
