Our Founder's Heart
Long before Strategic Blessings became an organization, the experiences that would prepare Dr. Rochelle Plummer for its work were already shaping her life. Raised by a mother who began motherhood as a teenager and a father whose repeated periods of incarceration affected much of her childhood, Dr. Plummer learned early how profoundly family circumstances can shape a child’s life. Yet those circumstances did not define the possibilities for her future. Grounded in faith and determined to build something different for her own family, she went on to raise six children while navigating the complexities of a blended family, divorce, and seasons that required extra care and understanding. Along the way, she built a successful professional career, earned a doctorate, and gained an even deeper appreciation for the power of knowledge, opportunity, and intentional parenting to influence the trajectory of a family.
The vision for Strategic Blessings, however, came in a deeply personal moment of faith. Dr. Plummer awoke from her sleep with the name Strategic Blessings placed distinctly on her heart, an experience she believes was God given. What followed brought together her faith, lived experiences, and professional background in adult education, leadership, and coaching with a clear sense of purpose. She founded Strategic Blessings to equip parents with practical knowledge, tools, and guidance as they navigate change while remaining intentional in their relationships with their children. At the heart of that calling is a conviction that reaches beyond any single family or circumstance: when parents are given the opportunity to grow, what is achieved in one generation can transform the trajectory of the next generation.
About Dr. Rochelle Plummer
Dr. Rochelle Plummer is an accomplished leader, adult educator, and certified Corporate and Master Life Coach with more than 20 years of combined experience in adult education, professional development, and leadership. Her expertise spans organizational leadership, adult learning, coaching, program development, and the design and delivery of learning experiences that translate knowledge into practical application. She holds a doctorate, two master’s degrees, and a bachelor’s degree, reflecting a longstanding commitment to education and lifelong learning.
As Founder and Executive Director of Strategic Blessings, Dr. Plummer provides strategic leadership while developing and delivering the organization’s parenting education and coaching programs. She brings together professional expertise, evidence informed approaches, and lived experience to guide the organization’s work with parents and families.
Dr. Rochelle Plummer is also the proud mother of six children who have grown into accomplished individuals pursuing their own unique paths, including careers, college degrees, and continued education. Her family reflects a belief central to both her life and work: success is not defined by a single path.
