Eligibility Requirements

Parent or Caregiver
Applicants must be a parent, legal guardian, or primary caregiver of at least one child.

Significant Family Transition
Applicants must be navigating a significant family transition. This may include incarceration or re-entry, court-ordered parenting education*, founded or substantiated child welfare involvement*, divorce or separation, bereavement, or military deployment or reintegration.

Financial Eligibility
Applicants must have a gross household income at or below 200% of the applicable U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Poverty Guidelines. View current HHS Poverty Guidelines.

*A court order or founded/substantiated child welfare case may be used solely to establish eligibility for Strategic Blessings programs. Strategic Blessings is not representing that participation in its programs satisfies any court, agency, or child welfare requirement. Applicants who are seeking to fulfill a court- or agency-related requirement are responsible for confirming directly with the appropriate court or referring authority that participation in a Strategic Blessings program has been specifically approved or accepted for that purpose.

Service Area: Strategic Blessings currently serves parents in South Central Pennsylvania and Western Maryland, with a primary focus on Franklin County, PA and Washington County, MD. Services in surrounding communities may be available based on program capacity and partnerships.
